ColourPal Studio App

ColourPal Studio is the new name, HueForge is gone. I’ve created a new app logo which I’ll update as I near the final release. The AI mode is also removed; instead, we have a colour picker. Users can upload an image or photo and ColourPal will extract the colours as a palette. Importantly, the app won’t collect or store any user data. I’m currently working on adding colour information, for example, Name, HEX, RGB, CMYK, and HSL/HSV, all to provide users with more detailed colour information. The app is almost ready for release, just a few bugs and final touches to sort out.

I started it at the end of last month (the end of January) and I've been working on it ever since. The project just got a name, it's also a solo project (I'm also learning on the job).

Artwork Shop!

I attended a workshop at Harries Academy in East Dulwich on 5th February 2026. It was focused on their artwork. I led two groups of year 4 children.  The session was thoroughly enjoyable. I divided the children into five groups of five. The objective was for each group to create a character, with each group responsible for a specific body part. Finally, I assembled the pieces to complete the character. Following this exercise, I organised a competition for them to design their own artwork. The winners would have their artwork transformed into posters (A3 and A4 sizes).  Selecting the winners was challenging as all the children demonstrated exceptional talent.  As a result, each child received an artwork pack containing a certificate, a drawing guide and two colouring pages.
